Our website uses Google Ads (gtag.js) to measure the performance of our advertising and to understand which enquiries come from our ad campaigns. This sets cookies in your browser and may record your IP address, device information, and the pages you visit on our site.
You can control or opt out of this tracking at any time:
Blocking cookies won't affect your ability to browse the site or contact us — it only limits our ability to measure ad performance.
We don't sell personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the business or comply with the law:
Some of the third parties above (notably Google and Meta/WhatsApp) process data on servers located outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on the fact that these providers maintain their own recognised data protection safeguards, and/or on your consent to use these channels (for example, by choosing to message us on WhatsApp), in accordance with section 72 of POPIA.
We keep enquiry and contact information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, and — if a project goes ahead — for the duration of that relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for warranty, accounting and legal purposes (typically up to five years, in line with standard South African business record-keeping practice). We securely delete or de-identify information once it's no longer needed.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure — including restricting who at Capital Branding can access enquiry and project data, and relying on reputable, secure third-party platforms for hosting, forms and communication. No system is completely risk-free; if we become aware of a security compromise affecting your personal information, we'll notify you and the Information Regulator as required by POPIA.
We will only send you marketing communications (such as promotions or newsletters) if you've given us clear, opt-in consent to do so. You can withdraw that consent, free of charge, at any time — by replying "STOP" to a WhatsApp message, emailing us, or using any other reasonably accessible method. We will not use your details for marketing purposes without your consent, and we won't treat silence or inaction as consent.
As a data subject, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Contact us. We'll respond within a reasonable time and in any event within the timeframes required by POPIA.
Our services are aimed at businesses and adult consumers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian, as required under POPIA. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, as our services, tools or the law change. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected here; we encourage you to check back periodically.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal information, we'd appreciate the chance to put it right directly first — but you're also entitled to lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator at any time:
